Valentine's Day is approaching quickly! It seems like yesterday was Christmas. I thought for my first post that I would put together a fun list of ten gift ideas to get your loved ones for Valentine's Day! These can make the perfect gifts for your friend, mom, sister, girlfriend, or anyone! Most of them are also in perfect colors for the special day- pinks, creams, and reds! 1. You can never go wrong with getting someone a candle. This one from Bath and Body Works is in a classic and traditional vanilla scent. These come in many different sizes and scents, so customize them to whoever you are getting the gift for. Places like TJ Maxx also have many candles that come in cute containers and packaging! 2. Cheek stains are a perfect gift to give to someone who is especially into makeup. Tarte has amazing colors, and fun packaging. Colors range from corals, to sheer glows, to more dramatic pinks and reds. The company is also eco-friendly and takes many harsh chemicals found in typically beauty brands out of their products- such as parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate. 3. This next gift, might be my favorite beauty discovery ever- especially in the brushes and tools category. The hype about this product is real and worth it. The Beautyblender is an egg shaped sponge designed to help you achieve the perfect foundation application. The shape helps you cover a wide area of your face with the product- while the point at the top makes it easy to apply concealer all the way to the corner of your eyes. It comes in white, black, and pink, but of course I chose the traditional pink for Valentine's Day. Get one for your friend, and maybe grab one for yourself too. You will not regret it. 4. For jewelry, this adorable arrow cuff by the brand 'Nico New York' at Nordstrom is the perfect bangle/bracelet for wearing alone or layering. Pictured here in gold- this bracelet also comes in silver and rose gold. Arrows remind me so much of love, especially because of Cupid and his bow and arrow. 5. Nail polishes are the perfect "little" gifts to get anyone on your list, especially your friends! Essie makes quality nail polishes at an affordable price. This shade in 'Russian Roulette' is the perfect classic red. Of course you don't have to go with that shade of red, or any red at all! Pinks, oranges, corals, tans, and glitters are also cute. Gift Idea: Get a few shades of polish in the same color, like an ombre effect or get one color, a base/top coat, and a nail file. Then put them in a cute mug or bag and wrap them up for a gift! 6. Room decor is always a great gift idea- no matter the time of the year. Many people decorate their bedrooms and homes for the season with candles, pillows, throws, art, etc. This pillow cover spelling 'Love' from Pottery Barn Teen can be used for the month of February and all year round! The shade pictured here is a tan, peachy, and bronzy glow- however light pinks and dark reds and mauves are also available! 8. Polaroids are classic vintage photos, that have been making a recent comeback these past few years. 9. This one is a bit of a splurge or little luxury gift, but it is worth the money. Clarisonics are one of the most popular skincare tools out there on the market. They can be used with any type of facial cleanser and their brushes help give you that deep clean making your skin feel like a million bucks.
